We offer Introduction to Pilates, Pilates Mat Classes, Piloxing® and Essentrics™ group classes several times a week in our Andrea Dean Pilates & Movement studio within Crossing Dance Studio in Midnapore, Calgary.



After that, drop-in and package rates are available.

Rate $16 per class plus GST (Minimum number to run each class is 6 participants.)

A combination of any classes or sessions, twice a week, is recommended to feel and see the results you desire!

The PILOXING® workouts are a fusion of boxing and standing Pilates principles. The combination of these disciplines as primary exercise components creates a sense of both physical and mental balance. PILOXING SSP adds the third element of dance in this high-energy interval workout. Piloxing® gloves are used during the main body of the workout to increase intensity, provide mild resistance and to improve muscle tone. The use of the gloves is optimal and the gloves can be purchased through your Piloxing® Instructor.

Essentrics™ is a full body workout that rapidly changes the shape of your body through a dynamic and fluid combination of strengthening and stretching. The technique develops lean, strong and flexible muscles with immediate changes to your posture. Perfect for men and women of all fitness levels, this program rebalances the body, prevents and treats injuries and unlocks tight joints. With a diverse music playlist accompanying each routine, this equipment-free workout leaves you feeling energized, youthful and healthy.

The mat workout class can be challenging (but modified for your level) by primarily using your own body weight and gravity. We also incorporate arm weights, exercise balls and other complementary elements to suit the group. This class is open level and kept at a manageable size (10 max.) in order to provide enough attention to each client, regardless of level. Introduction to Pilates class is recommended prior to joining this class.

Introduction to Pilates

Running every second Friday of the month at 10:30am, this class is ideal for anyone interested in trying Pilates for the first time (first time is free, on me). It’s also suited for those looking to repeat basic fundamentals of the Pilates method and beginner mat skills. Please contact Andrea to participate.


I recommend 3-5 private or introductory group classes before moving onto Pilates Mat Classes.
